From the sky falls a solitary young man, and the story begins. On this day at the edge of time, in this place of all possibilities, begins an inspired incantation to life rediscovered.

Cirque du Soleil is a phenomenom; its theatrical, character-driven shows define Cirque du Soleil as contemporary circus.

Each show is a synthesis of circus styles from around the world, with its own central theme and storyline. Shows employ continuous live music, acrobatics, dance and traditional circus skills - a circus with neither a ring nor animals.

The Varekai tour begins in February 2017 in Sheffield and visits Dublin, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and finishes in Glasgow in March.
