Covid-19: All theatres in the UK are currently closed. The earliest they could open in England and Scotland is May 17th 2021, which may allow shows to go ahead during May Half Term, subject to social distancing guidelines.
Possible dates for Wales and Northern Ireland have not been announced yet.
There are a number of Online and Streaming Pantos running, including some new productions especially for Easter 2021.

Disappointed at missing your Easter Panto fix! You can still watch a panto from the comfort of your own home, there are lots of online and streaming pantos that you can watch - and support theatres and performers around the UK at the same time.
Here are some of the theatres and production companies that are streaming either recorded or live performances this year. Some are available on You Tube.

Cinderella Live Online is back for Easter 2021! Chris Rankin, best known as Percy Weasley of the Harry Potter franchise, Jessica Ellis (Hollyoaks) and Kimberly Hart-Simpson (Coronation Street) join the cast of the first live fully interactive pantomime premiering from the UK this Christmas. International audiences will boo, laugh, cheer, clap, shout “Behind You!” and even sing along with the cast in this ground-breaking fully interactive pantomime.
- Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs Starring panto legend Basil Brush, Strictly's Joanne Clifton and BGT's Jai McDowell this panto will be streamed LIVE in real time between 27th March to 11th April with matinees and early evening showings. £15 per ticket.
- Alice in Wonderland is a virtual pantomime starring Motherwell panto legend, Ian ‘Sheepie’ Smith. Presented by Motherwell Theatre, in association with Starbright Entertainments, it runs from 3rd to 18th April. Motherwell's Easter Egg-stravaganza costs just £10 for a family virtual ticket.
- Aladdin Filmed at The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, it's the story of the boy plucked from poverty into an extraordinary adventure. Will the evil Abanazar get his hands on the lamp or will good overcome evil?
- Goldilocks and the 3 Bearz is presented by
The Basel English Panto Group based in Basel, Switzerland. This year, to due to the Covid-19 restrictions, they have decided to put on a virtual pantomime, screening the show on Zoom and including some live scenes for audience interaction, streamed on 12th and 13th December 2020. Goldilocks is sent off on a quest to help her village. During her search in the woods, evil will confront her with a few obstacles, but she manages to find refuge in a cottage. Little does she know some very woke Bearz own the place.
- My First Panto: Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Head to the Wild West with The Garage Norwich and All-In Productions' interactive online show for ages seven and under. Life is sweeter than an enormous jar of honey for Mama Bear, Papa Bear and Baby Bear. But a mischievous wind is blowing down the prairie and with it the famous bandit Goldilocks. - Cinderella Oneline Online Cinderella Oneline is a unique online virtual pantomime produced by Alliance Theatre in Newtown, involving over 350 performers worldwide as featured on BBC Wales. Each recorded one line on their phone which they sent in and we created the show. Free on their website, from Christmas Eve. This is a unique project, in which anyone could take part. It has taken 3 months to produce and involved over 1000 videos.
